Dr. Bradford Ripps

Dr. Brandford Ripps

Bradford R. Ripps, O.D. has been in private practice in Northwestern New Jersey for over 20 years. He has a progressive practice with over 10,000 active contact lens patients. A 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Ripps was chosen as a Nikon Scholar and was actively engaged in the development of new programs for clinical education. He is past-secretary of the Tri-County Optometric Society in Northern New Jersey. He is married and has three children. Hobbies include; Tennis, Skiing, Cycling, Softball, Running.

Dr. Ripps has been involved in clinical trials and served on advisory panels for Johnson & Johnson, Ciba Vision, Cooper Vision, and Bausch & Lomb. These studies dealt with the development of new modalities of contact lens wear, including frequent replacment and disposable contact lenses. Dr. Ripps remains actively involved in the evolution of contact lens wear and patient management.





Dr. Katharine Audlin

Dr. Audlin attended Binghamton University where she earned a B.S. degree in Biology. She earned her doctor of optometry degree at the State University of New York College of Optometry (SUNY) in 2000. Her training included a specialty externship rotation in pediatrics and vision therapy.

Dr. Audlin has been in practice with Total Eyecare for almost ten years. She enjoys providing care to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on children and young adults. She provides care to many patients with ocular disease, as well as routine examinations and contact lens fitting. Dr. Audlin has extensive experience examining children, including children with high refractive errors, strabismus and amblyopia, fitting contact lenses, orthoptics, and vision related learning problems.

Dr. Audlin is married with a newborn son and an adult step-daughter. She enjoys hiking with her three golden retrievers, nature, cross-country skiing, live music, and spending time with family and friends.


Dr. Kelly Shallwani

Dr. Kelly Shallwani

Dr. Kelly Shallwani obtained her bachelor of arts in chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Due to her training, Dr. Shallwani has examined a spectrum of patients such as veterans, infants, young children, teens, mentally challenged, and mentally ill. She practices general optometry which includes contact lenses, pediatric, low vision, and advanced care. Glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and hypertensive retinopathy are some of the many ocular diseases she treats. Problems with focusing and reading are also visual conditions Dr Shallwani can diagnose and treat. Though well educated and trained in her field, you will be most pleased with her friendly disposition and willingness to help patients obtain their best vision possible.

When she is not at Total Eyecare, Dr. Shallwani is busy enjoying music, concerts, theatre and traveling. She has traveled to cities all over the world such as London, Paris, Nairobi, Dubai, and Singapore.
